1. Booking and Payment Policy
- Booking Confirmation: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the start of the safari.
- Late Bookings: For bookings made within 60 days of the safari start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer or any other method agreed upon at the time of booking. All bank charges are the responsibility of the client.
2. Cancellations and Refund Policy
- Cancellations by Client:
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before the safari start date will result in the loss of the 30% deposit.
- Cancellations made between 59 and 30 days before the safari will result in a 50% refund of the total payment.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the safari start date are non-refundable.
- Cancellations by Safari Zone Travel And Tours: In the unlikely event that we must cancel a safari due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative tour of equivalent value. However, no refund will be provided for delays or cancellations caused by force majeure (acts of nature, war, civil unrest, etc.).
3. Changes to Bookings
- Changes by Client: Any changes to your booking must be communicated in writing. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they may be subject to availability and additional costs.
- Changes by Safari Zone Travel And Tours: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the safari itinerary where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. If significant changes are required, we will inform you as soon as possible, and alternative arrangements will be offered.
4. Travel Insurance
- All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal injury, repatriation, loss or damage of personal belongings, and cancellation of your trip. Safari Zone Travel And Tours will not be liable for any expenses incurred due to insufficient travel insurance.
5. Health and Fitness
- It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they are in good health and physically fit for the safari. Any medical conditions or dietary restrictions must be communicated to us at the time of booking. Safari Zone Travel And Tours reserves the right to decline a booking if it is determined that the client’s health condition poses a risk to the safety of the group or themselves.
6. Liability and Risk
- Assumption of Risk: Participation in a mobile safari involves inherent risks, including but not limited to encounters with wildlife, adverse weather conditions, and rough terrain. By booking with Safari Zone Travel And Tours, the client acknowledges these risks and agrees to undertake the safari at their own risk.
- Limitation of Liability: Safari Zone Travel And Tours will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of clients. However, we cannot be held liable for any injuries, delays, cancellations, loss, or damage of personal belongings, or any other incident that occurs during the safari unless caused by our negligence.
7. Visas and Travel Documentation
- It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have the necessary visas, passports, and other travel documentation required for their safari. Safari Zone Travel And Tours is not responsible for any disruptions or costs resulting from improper documentation.
8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a complaint, the client must inform the tour leader or guide at the earliest opportunity to allow us to address the issue promptly. If the matter cannot be resolved on the spot, the client must submit a written complaint within 30 days of the completion of the safari.
9. Photographic and Video Material
- Safari Zone Travel And Tours reserves the right to use any photographs or video footage taken during the safari for promotional purposes unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing prior to the safari.
10. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Botswana. Any disputes arising from the booking or the safari experience will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Botswana.
11. General
- By making a booking with Safari Zone Travel And Tours, the client agrees to adhere to these terms and conditions.
