The Savuti area, located in the southwestern part of Chobe National Park, is famous for its dramatic landscapes and predator-rich wildlife. It is home to a large concentration of lions, hyenas, leopards, and wild dogs. The Savuti Channel, which has a history of drying up and then flowing unpredictably, creates a dynamic ecosystem that supports a wide range of species, including elephants, zebras, and buffalo. The vast Savuti Marsh is a focal point for seasonal migrations, drawing wildlife and visitors alike. Savuti offers excellent game viewing, especially during the annual zebra migration.
